Your data
What the form collects
When you send the form we receive your name, the contact you give and your message: the place, the fact and the link. Nothing else is collected, and you need no account.
Your name and contact stay unpublished; we use them only to ask you about your message.
How visits are counted
Visits are counted by a script served from this site. It sets no cookies and builds no profiles. A click on a contact button on a place’s page sends one event with the type of button, the place and its activities, and nothing about you.
Your location
Your location is requested only when you press the location button. It stays in your browser while the tab is open, is used there to work out distances and is sent nowhere, not even to this site.
If you choose a station, a school or an area by name, your browser remembers it for your next visit.
The map in the filters shows streets from OpenStreetMap: when you open it, your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap’s servers, which see your IP address and the part of the map you look at, as any website would. The point you pick stays in your browser.
Listed places and your rights
The directory repeats what places publish for parents on their own websites and in their Google listings. Where one person runs a place alone, a phone number or an address appears only if that person has published it.
The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR): parents need these facts to compare what is on offer. Nothing is sold and nobody is profiled.
Anyone named in the directory can use the form to ask for access, correction or deletion, or to object to being listed. We reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority in Athens.
Having a message deleted
To have a message you sent deleted, use the form again and tell us which message you mean. It is deleted within one month.
